Terms of service
1. Who we are
EU Conformance Hub, Niels Andersens Vej 57, 2900 Hellerup, Denmark, trading as EU Conformance Hub.
2. What we provide
Automated and manual accessibility conformance testing, remediation services and continuous monitoring. Reports describe the results of technical testing against WCAG 2.1 level AA as referenced by EN 301 549 v3.2.1.
3. What a report is, and is not
- A report is a technical finding on the pages tested, on the date tested.
- It is not a certificate, a conformance claim, or a warranty that you comply with the European Accessibility Act or any national implementation.
- It is not legal advice. EU Conformance Hub provides technical conformance testing and remediation services. Nothing on this site or in our reports constitutes legal advice. Enforcement, penalties and exemptions vary by Member State — consult qualified counsel in your jurisdiction.
- Automated testing detects roughly a third of WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. Absence of findings is not evidence of conformance, and we state this in every report.
4. Your authorisation to scan
By submitting a URL you confirm that you own the site or are authorised to have it tested. You
indemnify us against claims arising from a URL you were not entitled to submit. We obey
robots.txt, identify our crawler honestly, and perform read-only requests only.
5. Payment
Self-serve reports are paid in advance via Stripe. Prices exclude VAT, which is applied at checkout where applicable. Audit, remediation and monitoring engagements are contracted separately with their own scope and payment terms.
6. Refunds
If a paid scan fails to complete for technical reasons on our side, we re-run it. If it still cannot complete, we refund in full. Because the full report is delivered digitally and immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content is waived on delivery, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive — you accept this when you purchase. If you are dissatisfied with the substance of a report, contact us; we would rather fix it than argue about it.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from any report is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for regulatory penalties, litigation costs or losses arising from your accessibility conformance or lack of it. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Confidentiality
Your scan results are confidential. We do not publish, sell or share them, and we do not name you as a customer without written permission. We may publish aggregate, anonymised statistics that cannot identify any individual site.
9. Availability
The free scanner is provided as-is with no availability commitment and is subject to fair-use rate limits (3 scans per email address per day). Paid engagements carry their own service terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which EU Conformance Hub is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
