How we arrive at your number

We price from distinct issue types, not from occurrence counts. Four hundred contrast failures across a site are usually two design tokens; pricing them as four hundred fixes would produce a number nobody should sign. Repeated occurrences add effort on a diminishing curve up to a cap, which is how the work actually behaves.

Every quote lists its assumptions in full — the blended rate, the manual review hours, the complexity multiplier, what we exclude. You should be able to argue with the number rather than simply receive it.

What we exclude, and say so up front

  • Third-party embeds — payment iframes, chat widgets, review platforms, cookie banners. We report them and give you the vendor-facing defect list; their vendor has to fix them.
  • Visual redesign. Where a contrast failure needs a brand colour changed, we propose the minimum compliant adjustment and you decide.
  • Ongoing content. We fix your templates and your existing content once; new product images still need alt text from whoever uploads them.

Prices include VAT. EU businesses can enter a VAT number at checkout for reverse charge.
